The super Eagles of Nigeria continues soaring after series of dominant performances in the Afcon tournament. Having thrashed Mozambique in a 4-0 statement, the super eagles have shown their intent for continuous ruthlessness in Morocco. The victory against Mozambique means Nigeria progresses to the quarter finals, and would await the victor between a competitive Algeria vs DR Congo. The super eagles last won the Afcon in 2013, and would be keen on getting their hands on the trophy this year, after a 13 years drought, and of course, remedy the outcome of the previous Afcon competition where they lost the finals to Ivory Coast.
